We aim to develop the love of reading and appreciation of the Filipino language among children. The Learning Library's unique literature-based approach encourages students to become more engaged and effective lifelong partners.
Summer is the best time to sharpen reading and Filipino skills! The Learning Library offers Reading, Filipino and Writing programs that aim to develop the love of literature as well as comprehension and communication strategies critical to school success.
Students are allowed to bring home books from a library of over 4,000 of the best children’s titles.
There are fun workshops and year-round programs in for children aged 3-16, offered in 8 branches in Metro Manila: Loyola Heights, Makati, Greenmeadows, San Juan, Congressional Avenue, New Manila, West Avenue, Alabang from April 10- May 2, May 7- June 1 and June 18- July 13.
Reading Safari (ages 3-7)
A fun workshop for children getting ready to read: teaches letter sounds plus word reading strategies and develops the love of reading.
Beginning Filipino (ages 4-10)
This workshop builds vocabulary and listening comprehension through different interactive activities. Guaranteed to make learning Filipino fun!
Speak Up, Write Now (ages 9-14)
A one-of- a-kind writing and speaking workshop that builds good composition and effective oral presentation skills.
Flexible schedules are available for those who wish to enroll in the regular programs, subject to availability.
The Reading Advantage (ages 3-16)
A complete reading and writing program with exposure to children’s literature, from beginning reading to comprehension and composition.
Wika’y Galing! (ages 3-16)
Anchored on Philippine culture and literature, this unique language program make Filipino relevant, interesting, even fun. It helps students acquire fundamental skills, confidence, and enjoyment in expressing.
